I get Costco.
In fact, have a membership to this warehouse club. I reckon I Go to this establishment four times a year, six tops.
I mainly like this store for the bulk purchases. On my list is usually oatmeal, nuts, coffee and the occasional planned lotion and potion.
But I think you need to be very careful when entering these big concrete stores. It is so easy to get caught up in buying unnecessary items simply because they are discounted and sold in bulk.
Large boxes of oatmeal for the price of several small supermarket offerings. The nuts, I love the walnuts, are incredibly inexpensive [ say compared to Whole Foods].
The value is there. There is no doubt about that….
But I offer a word of caution.
Think before you buy>>>
Do you have this item? Do you need this item? Where will you store 144 rolls of toilet paper? Is it a wise investment to purchase 2 gallons of shampoo and conditioner?
It is so easy to get caught up in the hype, the hustle and bustle of shopping in discount warehouses.
Less is MORE…. always.
